Ownership & Acceptance

This website is Owned & Managed by AMCC Australian Multicultural Community Centre. The organisation will be referred to as "We", "Our", and "Us".

By accessing or using the AMCC website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

For Stall Holders & Sponsors

STALL HOLDER
Stall Obligations
  • Provide accurate business and contact details
  • Maintain public liability insurance (min $10M)
  • Set up / pack down within designated times
  • Keep stall area clean, comply with food safety
  • Not sublet stall without written consent
  • Fees non‑refundable within 14 days of event
Sponsor Obligations
  • Provide accurate company and contact info
  • Pay sponsorship fees per agreement
  • Submit logos/branding by deadlines
  • No promotion of harmful/inappropriate content
  • Benefits as outlined in sponsor contract
  • Comply with advertising standards
EVENT PARTICIPANT
  • Respect all cultures, traditions, and community members
  • Follow event staff instructions and safety guidelines
  • No disruptive or offensive behavior
  • Supervise children at all times
  • Consent to photography/videography (opt-out available)

Accuracy of Information

You must ensure all information you provide to AMCC is complete and truthful, including:

  • Stall booking application details
  • Sponsorship registration information
  • Volunteer application forms
  • Donation records and correspondence

Event Participation & Liability

Important Disclaimer: Participation in AMCC events is at your own risk. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during events, except where required by law.

Weather & Cancellations

AMCC reserves the right to postpone, cancel, or relocate outdoor events due to severe weather. Stall fees are refunded only if AMCC cancels the event.

Photography & Media

By attending events, you consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional use. To opt out, notify our staff or email privacy@amcc.org.au.

Intellectual Property

All materials on this website (text, graphics, logos, images) are the property of AMCC or its content suppliers and are protected by Australian and international copyright laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission. This includes event logos, photos, program guides, and cultural resources.

Website Availability & Security

We strive for uninterrupted access, but cannot guarantee it. AMCC accepts no liability for temporary unavailability, technical issues, or data loss.

You must not attempt to bypass security, hack, or interfere with our website. Such attempts may result in legal action.

Modifications to Services

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our website or services (event schedules, stall booking systems, sponsorship packages) without notice.

User Responsibilities

Account Security
  • Maintain confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activities under your account are your responsibility
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
Prohibited Conduct
  • Discriminatory or offensive behaviour
  • Harassment of community members or staff
  • Uploading viruses or malicious code

Third‑Party Links & Services

Our website may contain links to external sites (payment processors, event partners). AMCC has no control over and assumes no responsibility for their content, privacy practices, or any loss incurred.

Donations & Payments

Donations

Voluntary and non‑refundable. Tax receipts issued for eligible donations.

Payment Processing

Secure third‑party gateways; AMCC does not store card details.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, AMCC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of profits, or claims arising from stall holder activities or event participants.

Jurisdiction: These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms. Material changes will be notified to active stall holders, sponsors, and subscribers via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
